  • “Miss Emma’s Cook Book” - all her familiar mouth watering recipes are in the book. The book was compiled and published by the Guild with Miss Emma’s help.
  • The Coffee Table Book - “The Story of MGD” professionally executed and produced by the Guild. It showcases our history from 1943 onwards. It is beautifully crafted with well written text by our erudite editor Ms.Chandralekha Mathur, from the first batch of 1943. The photographs selected are of historical value. Our gift to the school on its 70th anniversary.
  • DVDs
    • “Royal Reformer” A documentary on Rajmata Gayatri Devi showcasing the lives that she had touched and transformed (this was the last interview she gave).
    • School songs and prayers.
    • Evolution of the school uniform over the years.
    Note:-a,b& c are available at the school souvenir shop along with other attractive school related items. The shop is managed by the Guild.
  • At the prize giving day the Guild has instituted a silver medal which is awarded to the best senior student for Proficiency in Business Studies.

    • The school reception room was refurbished in August 2018.
  • Batch of 1964
    • Renovated Miss Lutter's grave in 2014.
    • Contributed musical instruments in 2023.
  • Batch of 1965
    • Presented Miss Lutter's oil painting to the Hall of History in 2015.
  • Batch of 1967
    • Contributed the ceramic mural in Jane Himmeth Singh Hall in 2017.
      Project executed by batchmate Ruby Jhunjhunwala.
    • Contributed towards the partial renovation of the Hall of History in 2017.
  • Batch of 1975
    • Renovated and refurbished the STEM Robotic Lab in December 2025.
  • Batch of 1979
    • Contributed towards the partial renovation of the School Library by Mr. Sudhir Mathur in memory of his sister, Mala Mathur, in 2019.
  • Batch of 1985
    • Refurbished the Junior Computer Lab in December 2025.
  • Batch of 1994
    • Renovated the Maharani Shiv Kumari Kota Wing washrooms in 2019.
  • Batch of 1997
    • Contributed two decorative glass windows, created using the warm glass technique, for the Hall of History in 2023.

  • Batch of 2008
    • Contributed 33 curated books on women's history, feminist thought, and inspiring stories for readers of all ages to the School Library in 2025.

    • Over the years, several batches have contributed funds that will be utilized for the continued upgradation and development of the school.

Contribution by individual Alumni towards the school

  1. Jane Himmeth Singh Hall — A well-equipped audio-visual room has been generously contributed by our Patron and Member of the Board of Governors, Mrs. Prafulla Kumari (Jane Jija), Batch of 1955, in April 2024.
  2. The School Infirmary was renovated in the memory of Nisha Chatterji, Batch of 1972, by her family in December 2012.
  3. The School Infirmary was later redone, refurbished, and fully stocked with the latest medical equipment by the Girls' Guild President and Member of the Board of Governors, Mrs. Nirmala Durlabhji, Batch of 1973, in September 2024.
  4. Gazal Qadri, Batch of 2013, contributed her creative art of illustrations (cartoons) to the Guild, which have been used for souvenirs and other items, projecting the various elements of boarding life in MGD, in 2018.
  5. Poonam Prasad, Batch of 1983, contributed a complete series of mythological books to the New Primary Section Library in 2025.
  6. Nandika Singh, Batch of 2008, contributed the complete Harry Potter series to the New Primary Section Library in 2025.
  7. Outdoor Gym was contributed by Ms. Pragati Jalan Surekha and Ms. Shradha Khemka Saraf, Batch of 1993, in the year 2018.
  8. Bhawana Kashyap, Batch of 1985, sponsored a running trophy for the category "Student of the Year" for Class 12 from the year 2023.
